Who can apply?

Any Making Music member vocal or instrumental group operating within Scotland and employing professional musicians may be eligible to apply for Financial Aid. 

What is Financial Aid?

Financial Aid is a partial guarantee against loss; therefore only loss-making concerts can be supported.  However, since only certain items of income and expenditure are taken into account when applications are considered, it is advisable to read the Guidance Notes for the scheme carefully, as concerts which may appear at first glance to be ineligible could qualify for support.

How do we apply?

Application Forms are issued in January for return by 31^st March.  This application covers concerts in the following season.  Full details of the process can be found in the Guidance Notes.  Click the link on the left to download a copy - please note pages are in A5 format but may be printed on A4 paper with two pages per sheet by checking the appropriate boxes in your Print options.
It is important that the Notes are studied carefully before an application is completed.
