Funding for Performing Groups

Any Making Music member vocal or instrumental group operating within Scotland and employing professional musicians may be eligible to apply for Financial Aid.  A concert for which application is made must be the group's own promotion and must show an overall loss in order to be eligible.  Funding is only available for performances within Scotland.  Click the link on the left for more details.

Funding for Opera/Musical Theatre

A smaller amount of funding is available for amateur groups promoting staged performances of opera or musical shows which involve a significant element of four part chorus work.  Performances must show a loss in order to be eligible for this funding.  Click the link on the left for more details.

Development Funding

Open to all member groups, this funding is in the form of small grants to assist with the cost of projects which are additional to normal activity and which contribute to the artistic or administrative development of the group. Click the link on the left for more details.
